Oldfallings Church will be closed due to recent Government announcement regarding lockdown however, the Church will be open once the lockdown has ended.
However, please follow the guidlines below.
Please stay at home when you have symptoms and let us know.
Please wash your hands before you come, use alcohol gel at the entry and the exit.
Observe social distancing of 2 metres at all times.
We will offer tea and coffee in the hall before worship from 10.30.
Please enter by the side entrance off the car park and make use of the garden if the weather permits.
If you just want to come for worship enter by the main entrance.
Please bring and wear a face covering in the vestibule and church
Follow signs and floor markings for the flow through the church.
Only the disabled toilet will be open. Disinfect before and after use.
Sit in marked places in the church to guarantee social distancing.
You may bring your own cushion should you wish.
Bear with the open doors for air flow.
Service time will be around 30 minutes to minimise infection possibility.
There will be no singing or using of hymn books, music will be played, clapping and humming behind face coverings is less risky.
Every one attending agrees that their name and address will be kept for 21 days to enable track and trace should it become necessary.
Consider giving your collection via standing order, but a plate for envelopes will be at the exit and the offertory counted the following Sunday.
Exit through that side door of the church allowing people to leave pew by pew to maintain social distancing.
Once outside please make space for those wanting to go home and when staying to chat observe social distancing.
Despite this not sounding like a lot of fun we can make it work, keep everyone safe, enjoy each other and praise the Lord.
When in the near future we are able celebrate communion we will be able to admire the cloth on the alter table which was crafted by Theresa who spent many hours crafting the cloth and brought it with her from home and gifting it the church.

Open Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Sunday between 1.00 pm and 3.30 pm. Access is by referral through a recognised organisation (e.g. CAB or Job Centre). Also provides a soup kitchen service on Thursday & Saturday between 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm.
